Black Snake Moan... whoa! loved this movie. It's definitely something new, haven't seen a movie like this one. Had me from beginning to the end... 9/10. Samuel L Jackson playing the blues was flippin sweet.

    Re: Last movie you watched

Watched 300 over the weekend. I liked it for it's entertainment value, was a little to dark for my liking but still a good flick.

You don't watch movies like this for their historical teachings. The history is a good starting point to work off of, if you want a history lesson watch TLC, Discovery, or The History Channel. The documentary they had on saturday about the 300 on the History Channel was really good and very informative, we recorde it and watched it sunday after the movie. Like I said movies are for entertainment not studying history.

Premonition, at the theater. Save your money for rental fees. O.K. for rental, but the only reason I went to the theater was because Sandra Bullock was in it.

I purchased Casino Royale just because I've been a huge Bond fan since I saw the first movie (Dr. No in 1962). I do not like the new Bond at all, nor did I care for the movie. Oh, it had its moments, but nothing to match the Bond efforts of the past.

Zodiac - A train wreck of a film. Almost seemed like it was edited by a retard on speed.

The Departed. as it turns out the Jack Nicholas character has a real life type person that was in Boston.

Don't read if you have not see it.

He was a mobster type that flooded the city with drugs and guns and violence but was an FBI informant.

Stranger than Fiction - A delightful romp.

Which is what I'd like to have with Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Ferrell shows his chops in this one. He, much like Jim Carrey, Tom Hanks, and Adam Sandler, can take his acting to the serious level.

The only black eye for this one was Dustin Hoffman. He could spend 2 hours reading Hamlet in front of a gaggle of nude cheerleaders and I wouldn't watch it.
